Gold: Jet Set Candy uses gold vermeil instead of standard gold-plating, as it is one of the thickest forms of plating. Gold vermeil is 2.5 microns of gold plating on a base of solid sterling silver. Avoid exposure to household bleach, chemicals, and chlorine. Use a non-abrasive cleaner. Although gold vermeil has a solid sterling silver base, avoid using silver polish. Between uses, place your jewelry back in its original pouch.
